The initial concept for this project was to adjoin two existing, adjacent structures (one of which was a garage) into one cohesive office building. However, as the design process unfolded, it became evident that demolishing the garage and extending the original building would create a more visually appealing and cost-effective solution. The resulting building is a harmonious coastal structure that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding environment of Surf City.
